Moreover if you check 2009 sales 360 = 700 000 while the PS3 = 300 000.Thats more than 2:1
MSFT claimed a while back they were leading in EU, when you see these numbers, though its only the UK, its pretty obvious MS are on a roll in EU.
So MSFT are dominating USA + EU. Ps3 got Japan...

Maybe this is the reason the 360 is ahead of the PS3 in EU.

Moreover Splinter Cell Conviction already looks better :

MSFT spend money on games too may it be 1st or 3rd party.
Mass Effect, Crackdown, Forza, Lost Odyssey,Blue Dragon, Gears,Dead or Alive series, Project Gotham series, Halo, Fable, L4D, Splinter Cell Conviction, Rare Games, Alan Wake etc etc.
-the most popular JRPGS on the 360 though the XBOX didnt have a single one
-getting Assassins Creed, Resident Evil, DMC4, Tekken, Metal Gear and Final Fantasy to appear on the 360.

who cares if a bunch of people who wouldnt buy a 360 no matter what hate MSFT even more after this.

It looks like theyre doing a complete overhaul. I guess we'll see more next year since its only coming out fall 2010 and MSFT always usually dont hype their games more than a year or a couple of months from release.
And I dont know why but I have a feeling there wont be Gears 3 next year so Halo Reach will have to fill in the slot for end of the year blockbuster...that alone makes me sure its gonna be something huge.
I was really happy with MSFT's press conference, a whole lot better than last years and better than Sony's.
It just seems like MSFT work harder on the 360 than Sony on the PS3.
And MSFT always have the surprise factor with them. I mean announcing Forza 3 and releasing it 5 months afterwards is just crazy especially when you see the quality of the game.
Same goes for Splinter Cell Conviction, they scrapped and havnt said anything about it until 6 months f...

Rather bring up the PS2 or the DS rather than stay on topic and admit the 360 is RPG king
Come on please its obvious which console to get if you want the best JRPGS and WRPGS.
Even if you hate the xbox you can only be in denial this much then have to admit the truth even if the truth is extremely painful for some people.
PS3 owners were expecting to get the 1st clas treatment they got with the PS2 concerning RPGS especially JRPGS but that isnt the case...not even close and they still cant believe it.
Well thats too bad then I still got my ME saves.
And ME3 officially announced for 360 !!! :D

360's success is due to the fact that it offers as much (software wise) as its direct competitor for cheaper. Moreover getting all the former PS exclusives like Resident Evil, GTA4, Final Fantasy and DMC for instance has convinced former PS2 owners to switch to XBOX.
Add to that intelligent marketing and there you have it!
